I believe in miracles
Misa Art – International Contemporary Artist | Metal Painter | Visionary Creator | Founder of Towers of Light
International artist Misa Art, originally from the Czech Republic and now based in Santa Barbara, California, creates contemporary artwork that blends metal and aluminum painting, spiritual abstraction, and emotional color studies. Her artistic journey spans the Czech Republic, Chicago, New York City, Florida, and California—each place shaping her evolving exploration of light, energy, and the emotional psychology of color.
Working across wood, metal, and abstract expression, Misa’s work is recognized for its flowing brushstrokes, multidimensional surfaces, and light-reactive textures. Her compositions weave together muted tones and intuitive emotion, transforming realism into a reflective, energetic, and modern visual language. This approach has become her signature style—a fusion of contemporary art, spiritual art, celestial landscapes, and frequency-based expression.
Her art requires no translation. It crosses borders, cultures, and belief systems, speaking directly to the universal human experience of beauty, light, emotion, and transformation.
Artist’s Statement
Through my work, I bring visions, emotions, memories, dreams, and higher inspirations into form. I have always known I was born to create. I began painting at the age of four—my first painting was a portrait of the President of the Czech Republic. My kindergarten teacher immediately told my mother that I should be trained as an artist.
Life initially led me through business school, but the call to create never left. In 2000, I came to the United States alone and opened my first art gallery in Chicago. From there, my work expanded into exhibitions across the country, including New York City, Florida, and California. I am entirely self-taught and developed every technique I use through experimentation and intuition, while managing four art studios, three galleries, and one children’s charity (www.misaforlove.org).
Art is the way I breathe. It is how I understand this world. Through creating, I invite people to feel deeply, to remember who they are, and to see life from new perspectives. I believe that beauty and light change us, align us, and awaken us.
%A near-death experience—shared in my book Tower of Light—transformed my purpose and expanded my artistic path. From this experience, Towers of Light was born.
Towers of Light is a visionary public art project now coming alive, merging art, science, sound, geometry, and human energy harmonization into sculptural installations designed for public and shared spaces. Each tower represents a system of light, frequency, and consciousness, inviting reflection, healing, and connection.%
%As the Towers of Light project moves into physical realization, my metal art plates and sculptural forms exist both as independent works and as integral elements of this larger vision.
I was born—and reborn—to create. My purpose is to continue building art that inspires, heals, and gives back, with a portion of proceeds supporting children’s charities worldwide%.
